Characteristics of materials
- Steel is high-hardenability high-nickel steel and high-alloy high-quality carburized steel. This steel has high strength, toughness and good hardenability. After carburization and quenching, the surface hardness and wear resistance are very high, and the core has high toughness.
- The steel has average processability, medium cold deformation plasticity, white spot sensitivity and temper brittleness, and poor weldability. It needs to be preheated before welding, and it is also suitable for use in the quenched and tempered state.
- This steel can be made into molds using both cold extrusion forming and cutting methods. Carburizing or carbonitriding followed by quenching can improve the hardness and wear resistance of the mold surface.
